Oh OH I did it again

I had a bad spell at gramps after I barked at a vistor. Got sick for several minutes. Hungry as soon I was done with that, but Ma made me wait.

Naps are good.

Dad and I are napping. Mom is watching TV. I had a good day. Got to sleep in the sun on the porch out of the wind.

Dad isn't home

Dad is working tonight and mom hasn't gone to bed. I WANT BED now or sooner.

Still hanging in there.

Dad tried me on a piece of pork. Not a good idea. Good thing I could go outside. Now I am being held after a regular feeding.

It has been good

Being home means being held while someone watches TV. Even chased the rodents out of the blueberries. Real GOOD day.

Finally home

Been at Gramps for a while. He had dislocated a finger just before surgery on his hand. Yes same hand. He is gaining. He held me a lot so all I want is to be held. We will be back and forth for some time to let him nap. Gram is gaining and wants help doing things.

As for me I started getting sick again. Don't know what the trigger was. Maybe been too long from home. I did gain almost a pound. Need more exercise.

Scratch

Scratching like crazy, Think it is the bug bites mostly.

Not much

Still waiting for ma's chair. Ma went to town without me today. Brought home food for me.

Been traveling

Went to vets for toe nail trim and then to Gramps. He dislocated a finger when he fell. Makes it bigger to rub me with. Home tonight for a couple of days.

settling in

Dad's chair is comfy. Certainly is big enough for me and one human. Wonder what the other chair will be like.

Me - my wrinkle is infected and sunburnt. OUCH. It is healing.

Things are still moving around

Ma moved about 25 boxes out of livingroom today. I have room to play with all my toys now.

Been busy

Mom is rearranging the furniture. No couch left for me. But I have a great window seat.

Quiet Rainy day

I slept most of day. Doing okay with the mega. Getting use to the new livingroom arrangement.

Spring-y weather

Loving the sun. Watched the corn planting today. Dad goes back to work Monday. The bats are hitting the trailer tonight after the bugs.

Mom tried ....

Mom took me for a walk to tire me out. Then there was this series of T-storms ... I barked and shivered thru those. Now I am sleeping.

Having fun

I'm pulling door tag. Dad is getting frustrated with this. Am enjoying the air from the screens having been installed.

Well it was going great

I regurged today a couple of times. I was trying to tell Mom I wanted out and she didn't move fast enough. (That's my story...)

Wonderful sunny day and I wanted to be out there.

Venison GONE

Now that the venison is gone I'm strictly on the Ocean White Fish. Haven't been sick as much, but Dad and Mom stayed home most of the last week. Dad can drive now, so they will be going out a little more. 3 more weeks before Dad goes back to work. I will enjoy his lap all I can.

Food news

The fish is working out real well. Venison is now the treat. Dad wants to cuddle, but I DON'T.

Things going to my liking.

Daddy home for a month. He gets to hold me - as long as I don't jump on his belly. Been hard with all the going to hospital at all hours that been going on. Glad that is done.

Sun is out

and so am I. Almost thru the food swap. Everything is staying down for now.

Finally settling in

The food situation is going okay. Only regurged twice yesterday. Ma did flea treatment on me last night. Think I might make it onto the fish. Going to miss the venison, but it is only available on back order for now.

Wrong day

On the wrong side of door all afternoon. The feedings are going a little better, but not much. Maybe tomorrow will be better.

Fish not going well

Started the white fish food today. It is not settling my tummy any. But other foods aren't any better.

New month, but same ole thing

Cant seem to get comfortable. In and out - or wrong side of door syndrome. Been alone a lot for me since Monday morning. But I have been doing okay. Maybe tomorrow I will cuddle with ma when dad goes to work.

MY ME DAY

I wanted to be center of attention all day. So I did anything to get ma's attention ALL DAY. Now I need a nap. zzzzzzz

Went for a romp

I slipped my collar and went to Grams. Only next door, but had a good time for a few minutes.

Finally nice out side

I spent a good deal of today outside. Sun worshipping what Mom would allow. Did the walk to mailbox. About a mile. That will help on keeping the weight down.

Visiting

Saw my cousin Jewel today. She is a full Dalmation. We had fun. She loves my venison food. She went out every time I did so as to know what I did.

update

Ears have been itching. Mom trying to keep them clean and the wrinkle too. Getting ointment in my eyes for the eye buggers drying on them.(Helps with dry eye for sleeping with eyes open.) BUT The food is staying down.

Not much

Things been quiet. Ma fell down again - without me this time. I am getting ready to swap food type. Going off venison (company back ordered it) to try white fish. Might help with dry skin. Won't help with the megaesophagus - I'm sure.

Nails trimmed

Went to have the nails trimmed. They left them very pointed. Ma fell down on the ice at the vets. I tried not to laugh.

Dad home early

Dad got home early and fed me things I shouldn't have. Mom gets to clean up afterwards. He forgets about allergies to go with the esophagus problems.

At least mom can blame something for my rash now.

Mom is busy SO-----

Mom was trying to do something without me, so I tried barking and nothing stayed down. So she had some cleaning to do. Now she is holding me.

Back to normal

Mom did one load laundry for me already. So far sick 4 times. Floor is getting spot cleaned. Oh well---

Dad has tomorrow off so maybe he'll hold me for a while.

Been a Real good day

I have slept most of day. Wanted to spend time outside but TOOOO cold. Dad held me after he got home.

Caught cold

I caught Dad's cold. Mom has it too. Mom is doing the laundry I made. Just 2 loads so far today.

Today better day

Yesterday - every feeding regurged. YUK!!!

Today no regurg. Much Better!! Dad sick on his normal time off so he held me all day.

Not good at all

This morning Dad fed me at 5:15 and at 7:15 I regurged while sleeping. Now got to watch for a cold as some got in the breathing. Good thing Mom understands this so well. She thinks this is similar to some of the CP symptoms she has.

Had extras arpimd today. Eat then bark at them. Didn't work well. Maybe tomorrow will be better. Been fine since they left.

Daddy been home

Daddy was home for 3 days. He holds me a lot while watching TV. I played a cuddle bum. Mom got a few things done. Now he has gone back to work and Mom gets to hold me.

Was only regurged once in those 3 days. Not bad.

Very Restful

I slept most of today. Didn't even want to be held. Have no interest in my toys either. Maybe later ... (when others try to sleep). At least food is staying down.

Time on my own is not good

Left alone for almost 5 hours today. Regurgitated twice after that. Finally resting with head on my toys after being held upright for over 30 minutes. Hope tomorrow goes better.

Been real quiet

I've been quiet for a while. Haven't been sick for over 40 hours. Sleeping with my head up. Playing happens after my quiet time for food to get mostly into stomach. This really helps.

Today has been pretty good. Only sick twice in eight feedings. Both times I got excited.

Been keeping my wrinkles clean so no infection in those at this time. Ears are dirty but not infected.

Starting point

Got to start somewhere.

Pug is allergic to regular dog food. So it is eating canned venison and potato only. Yesterday she was diagnosed with megaesphagus condition. We built a platform for her food dish and water bowl today. Up about three inches. We hold her head up when ever she eats which is often. It takes about 27 hours for 1 can of food. This helps on her weight as Pugs tend to be over weight.

Megaesphagus is the food doesn't get into the stomach as fast as normal. It sits in the esphagus longer than normal. The muscles along the esphagus are not wired correctly to contract and massage the food along its way. If she tries to bark or if she has her head lowered the food comes up. It explains why she likes using pillows or her toys as a pillow.
